We are organizing the Helsinki Biennial Media Day on Thursday, June 5, 2025. During the day, you will have the opportunity to explore all the event venues and artworks of the biennial. You will also have the chance to meet the director, curators, and numerous artists of the Helsinki Biennial.

The Media Day is intended for media representatives, and registration is personal.

Below is the preliminary programme for the day. Please provide an initial estimate of which sections you would be attending. We are asking for this information to organize the event in the best possible way. We will send the final program to your email before the event.

On Thursday, June 5, Olafur Eliasson's new public artwork will also be unveiled in Kruunuvuorenranta district. We will arrange a ferry transport from Vallisaari island to the unveiling event. Please let us know if you are interested in the ferry transfer from Vallisaari to Kruunuvuorenranta. If you are coming from the mainland, you can use, for example, the HSL ferry from Meritullintori pier. The event in Kruunuvuorenranta will start at 15.00. The final invitation for the event will be sent closer to the date.
